Advisory Board

Colm Ó Áonghusa joined the Tipperary Energy Agency in October 2019. He had a twenty-year career in capital markets finance. More recently, as a Certified Energy Manager, Colm has worked as an energy consultant in both the domestic, SME and commercial sectors. Colm’s main responsibilities at the Agency are energy auditing and monitoring and reporting on local authority energy consumption. Colm is a chartered engineer, chartered accountant, certified energy manager and is also a qualified Certified Measurement & Verification Professional. He holds an MBA from TCD and a diploma in renewable energy from the University of Ulster. As a member of Engineers Ireland, he has volunteered with the Steps to Engineering initiative in National schools for many years.
