On March 24, SPEEDIER had the opportunity to participate in the Concerted Action on the Energy Efficiency Directive to showcase how the project is working towards this directive.
Padraig OReilly, Researcher at Limerick Institute of Technology, was the person responsible to explain, on behalf of SPEEDIER, the ongoing impact assessment on the market uptake of Energy Efficiency measures.
SPEEDIER took part in this session together with DEESME and SMEmpower efficiency, two other H2020 projects addressing energy efficiency in SMEs.
During the day, the barriers (systems, technical, policy, legal) to collecting implemented measures data were addressed, as well as the feedback obtained from users. Likewise, the challenge of how audits link to incentives and how successful are these in incentivising implementation was discussed.
